A leprechaun’s world is unique,
And I’d like now, to let you peek
Into things that are just so small,
Smaller than you, whose world is tall!
My fork is small, but yours is big.
When I’m happy, I dance a jig!
My fiddle plays well, though so small.
To play for you? Don’t mind a-t’all!
My socks are small, and yours are big.
My shovel’s small, with which I dig.
My hat, my teapot, and my mittens;
My Brigid’s cross and my clothespins;
My tea set, too, they’re all so small…
You could not use them much at all!
I’ve talked too much, so now I’ll nap.
I’ll head for home…don’t need a map!
I’ll climb right in my nice, warm bed.
I’ll lay right down my sleepy head!
But don’t forget! Please read out loud!
I might hear you! I’ll be so proud!
I’m happy you read this today.
God bless you is what I do say! (See Footnote #10)
So cool seeing the pics of Finney’s tiny things!

To my Friend, Sanctanomina, from your Friend, Finney!
I thought so hard, hard as I could,
To tell of this…just knew you would
Be glad to see this little peek
That shows, some, why my life’s unique!
Sanctanomina is not small.
It makes me think your “name” is…tall!
If I could call you my Friend “S”,
Then I could say I pray God bless
To you and all your Family,
And, do so very happily!

Did I see a little girl (not quite the size of you Finney) peering into your house not long ago?
Do you invite others to do the same?

To my Friend Poppie, from your Friend Finney!
Oh! Yes! You saw her! She did look
Inside to see…a glance she took!
My Nannie told me she did come,
But I don’t know where she came from.
My Nannie said she was so nice!
With sugar and also some spice,
Is what I know that little girls
Are made of, and, sometimes have curls!
And, yes, please!…You, “others”, do come!
I need not know where you come from.
But like the lovely little girl,
Who did, I think, have a small curl,
To be so quiet, I would ask,
In case I’m sleeping, no small task
To try so hard not to make noise,
For little girls and little boys.
So glad you wrote to me today,
God bless you is what I do say!

Hello to thesaratogasaver, from your Friend, Finney!
I am so glad you told me this!
So good you liked my rhymes, it is!
I’ve had a busy day, have you?
I’ve worked and worked and played some, too.
So, now it’s time to go to sleep.
Sometimes I go to sleep, so deep!
But in the morning I feel good.
Then I get done the work I should.
I hope for you the same thing, too!
Maybe, again, I’ll hear from you!
Thank you so much for taking time
To read and comment on my rhyme.
That things are good for you, I pray.
God bless you both is what I say!

To my dear friend finney from Jane,
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy reading all about you from your Irishnannie! You are so blessed to have her😊 It must be such a wonderful world you live in! Everything you have is just perfect for your needs. Your Irishnannie said when you are happy you dance a jig. How I would love to see that!! At the end of a busy but eventful day, I bet you can’t wait to get into your small but oh so comfortable bed for a good nights sleep! Pleasant dreams Finney.

To my dear Friend Jane, from your dear Friend Finney
Today has been a busy day.
To hear from you does make me say
How nice it was of you to write
To me and say a fine good night!
About my bed…you are so right.
When day does end, ’tis a great sight!
I have a thought now…grand and big,
That someday soon, I’ll dance a jig
For you and hope you will dance, too,
As happy Irish folk will do!
Thank you for such nice notes you send,
You surely are my faithful Friend!
And pleasant dreams I hope for you…
Just like you did wish for me, too!
Tomorrow is a brand new day.
God bless you is what I do say!
