Hello, my Friend!  Hello today!

I hope you are in a good way.

No matter whether rain or shine,

I always hope your day is fine!

The smell of Spring’s now in the air!

I jumped up from my rockin’ chair,

And ran to where water was ice,

But water’s showin’ now!  So nice!

I’ve even seen a little green,

Which always makes a lovely scene!

   

The waterfalls are showin’, too,

So fun to watch for me and you!

The birds are flyin’ and they sing!

Such fine, grand sounds to us they bring!

The squirrels run around and ’round,

They’re always looking on the ground!

Can’t wait to see some flowers soon,

And see the Spring night’s stars and moon!

Of course, warm days in the beach sun,

Will be here soon for seaside fun!

The new pine cones will start to show,

As Spring warmth helps them so they grow.

So, I’ll get my work done today,

And then there’s time to laugh and play!

I now will put my scarf away,

And, “Welcome Spring!” is what I say!

   

I’ll watch the newborn horses run;

While near their moms they have their fun!

   

I’ll watch for more new green that grows,

Sometimes in old brown leaves, green shows!

Yes! Spring is time for so much new!

So much is fresh for me and you!
